如果你不能感激你所得到的,那麼感謝你所倖免的。
If a person cannot appreciate what they have been given, then at least appreciate what they haven’t suffered. For example, “I am unhappy because I live in a small apartment. I look out of the window and see a man in a wheelchair who lost his legs in a car accident. I am grateful I still have legs."
假如做不到時常心懷感恩,至少學會有幸沒有受苦,例如:「我常覺得不快樂,因為總是住在小房子,但若從窗外看到一位因為交通意外而失去雙腳,坐在輪椅上的人時,至少我要慶幸我仍有雙腳。」
